Think of the contrast between these false teachers and Jesus. These false teachers come in to please themselves; Jesus comes in to die for you and me. These false teachers come in to build themselves up; Jesus comes in to pour himself out for you and me. He comes not to be served, but to serve and to give his life as a ransom for many.1
