By no means. The day would come when God’s people would search to find the word, to no avail. They would suffer a famine of the word of God (Amos 8:11–12). Absence of God’s word is in itself judgment (1 Samuel 28:15–16; Micah 3:6; Ezekiel 7:26). It is a burning fire that consumes the people (Jeremiah 5:14).
