God’s city is the city where everything that glitters is gold (Revelation 21:18–20). Revelation also speaks about another city full of gold and precious stones (Revelation 17:1–6), that is Babylon (Revelation 17:18). The difference between these two golden cities is that Babylon has no future, but God’s Jerusalem will exist forever. It is a matter of whether you have built up all your wealth and gold from wisdom or from foolishness.
