King Darius is extremely happy. He gives the order to bring Daniel out of the lion’s den. When Daniel is taken out of the lion’s den it becomes clear that God’s power is so great that nothing serious had happened to Daniel at all. He does not have a scratch! He is unharmed. Daniel had trusted in the Lord. And the Lord shows that if you do that, you are truly safe.
23 Then the king was exceedingly glad, and commanded that Daniel be taken up out of the den. So Daniel was taken up out of the den, and no kind of harm was found on him, because he had trusted in his God.
