In Luke 6:39–45 we find parables in which Jesus teaches about the attitude of citizens of God’s kingdom. Remarkable is the singular parable,
while Jesus actually uses various illustrations. Apparently, it is a comparison for one and the same matter.
The sentence about the blind is worded in such a way that the answer is clearly no.
A blind person cannot lead another blind person safely. This means one must internalize and conform to the words of Jesus to be a citizen of the kingdom. In other words, it is only when you are a mirror image of the heavenly Father that you are able to live such a life making you a safe and reliable guide for other people on their journey of life. If you do not meet the requirements of the foregoing, you are equal to the sinners
. The result is that you are an unreliable guide.
