As to his human nature, Jesus Christ is currently seated at the right hand of the Father (Ephesians 1:20–21) and he is no longer on earth. However, because he is fully God and fully man, with respect to his divinity he continues to be present among his people by his Spirit (Matthew 28:18–20). In the same way that Jesus ascended into heaven (bodily and visibly) he will also return (bodily and visibly).
11 and said, “Men of Galilee, why do you stand looking into heaven? This Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will come in the same way as you saw him go into heaven.”
