What does Acts 2:14-36 reveal about what God does in my place and on my behalf (the work of the Son)? Jesus of Nazareth suffered, died, and was raised from the grave so that all those who call on his name can be saved from the judgment that sinners deserve. He is the Christ of God who came not only to rule over this world but to bring salvation.
