Bringing the gospel can be scary. One may wonder, What if the people do not believe me? But we have the promise: the gospel is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes
(Romans 1:16). Jesus sent his disciples to tell the gospel: Go
(Matthew 28:19), just like God says four times to Moses. God’s message, the gospel, can be rejected and we can face hostility. But then we have to pray for boldness, just like the first Christians in Acts 4:29–30: Now, Lord, look upon their threats and grant to your servants to continue to speak your word with all boldness, while you stretch out your hand to heal, and signs and wonders are performed through the name of your holy servant Jesus.
1 Then Moses answered, “But behold, they will not believe me or listen to my voice, for they will say, ‘The LORD did not appear to you.’”
