Verse 15 introduces the reader to the four sacrifices that were presented on behalf of the people. They were: a goat as a purification offering to cleanse the altar (Leviticus 9:15), a calf and a lamb as a burnt offering (Leviticus 9:16), a grain offering (Leviticus 9:17), and an ox and a ram as peace offerings (Leviticus 9:18).
15 Then he presented the people’s offering and took the goat of the sin offering that was for the people and killed it and offered it as a sin offering, like the first one.
