What does Acts 7:1–8:1 reveal about who God the Father is? God is glorious (Acts 7:2).
God reveals himself to his people. He revealed himself to Abraham and Moses.
God works to accomplish good. Joseph was sold by his brothers but served to save them from famine.
God is powerful. He can work miracles, signs, and wonders.
God is sovereign. He knows the future. He can make promises and keep them.
God is not limited to a particular place. He revealed himself to people living in Iraq, Israel, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt.
God uses people to accomplish some of his plans. Moses is sent to Israel as their ruler and deliverer. The Righteous One is sent to bear the burden of God’s wrath against the sins of his people.
God is angry at sin. He turns away from his people when they worship idols.
God is concerned for truth. He is watching over Stephen’s trial.
