God will not dispute about sacrifices in those outward characteristics.
1Truly nothing was missing in the sacrifices that the people made. One need not be concerned about that. But it does not automatically mean that everything is fine (cf. Jeremiah 7:21–26; Hosea 6:6).
8 Not for your sacrifices do I rebuke you; your burnt offerings are continually before me.
