The word used for offering
is also the word that most frequently is used of the cereal offering, and that is what seems in view here. The word can be used of blood offerings (1 Samuel 2:17, 1 Samuel 2:29; 1 Samuel 26:19), but its use here as a reference to the cereal offering is appropriate for the time after the one great final offering for sin (Hebrews 9:26–28).1
10 From beyond the rivers of Cush my worshipers, the daughter of my dispersed ones, shall bring my offering.
