The grain offering of firstfruits was distinguished from the other grain offerings. The common cereal offerings may be presented at any time throughout the year. On this occasion, however, we deal specifically with the procedures for the offerings of the firstfruits.
14 “If you offer a grain offering of firstfruits to the LORD, you shall offer for the grain offering of your firstfruits fresh ears, roasted with fire, crushed new grain.
