What is significant about the note that “Manoah knew”?
Judges 13:21 (ESV)
21The angel of the LORD appeared no more to Manoah and to his wife. Then Manoah knew that he was the angel of the LORD.
The text does not say “Manoah and his wife knew.” It only says, Then Manoah knew that he was the angel of the Lord, not Manoah and his wife knew. His wife already knew, since he had appeared to her in the first place.
