Who will come and strike the land with a decree of utter destruction?
Malachi 4:6 (ESV)
6And he will turn the hearts of fathers to their children and the hearts of children to their fathers, lest I come and strike the land with a decree of utter destruction.”
It is the same one who gave the law through Moses, and who sends “Elijah” as forerunner to the day of the Lord. Clearly, this is the Lord of Hosts who will come. It is Yahweh who will come as Judge on the day of the Lord.
