Christ not only preached that the kingdom is near, but he accompanied his proclamation with numerous miracles. Thereby he already showed what kind of kingdom he is bringing. There will be no more sicknesses, demons, or people with skin diseases. There will be no more death. Christ did more than just tell us this; he showed it in his deeds by eliminating sickness, demons, and skin diseases. He even raised a dead person. He brings the gospel near through word and deed.
