Commentary on Job 18:7 (Summary)

Job 18:7 (ESV)

7 His strong steps are shortened, and his own schemes throw him down.

This is the way of God’s justice. For a time, he may allow a wicked man to walk with strength (as Job had walked with strength). But sooner or later, God lets the wicked man stumble through his own plans.
