How did Paul’s death to the law free him to live for God?
Galatians 2:19 (ESV)
19For through the law I died to the law, so that I might live to God.
Having realized that he is unable to keep the law in order to earn God’s favour, Paul’s thought life is now focused on the glory of God (1 Corinthians 10:31).1 The details of old covenant law are no longer in the forefront of his mind.2
19 For through the law I died to the law, so that I might live to God.
