Who is subject to the curse of the law?

Galatians 3:13 (ESV)

13 Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who is hanged on a tree”

Though the Mosaic law was peculiar to the people of Israel, it still conveyed a universal truth that is relevant for all mankind. All people (Jew and Gentile) are subject to judgment and curse as a result of a failure to live up to God’s standards (Romans 1:18 – 3:20).1
