What does Galatians 5:1–12 reveal about what God does in my place and on my behalf (Son)?
Jesus Christ is the one who came to make it possible for a sinful people to dwell in the presence of a holy God. He rendered the perfect obedience that God requires. He also bore the penalty that we deserve for our failure to obey God’s commands.
1 For freedom Christ has set us free; stand firm therefore, and do not submit again to a yoke of slavery.
