What does Amos 4 reveal about what God does in my place and on my behalf (the work of God the Son)? God enables me to prepare for a meeting with him. He sent his Son to bear the penalty of sin on my behalf and to live the perfect life in my place. As a result, Jesus Christ can serve as a mediator between me and God. Through faith in Jesus Christ, I can meet God in peace, knowing that he is my Father.
