Matthew 24:15–22 (ESV)

15 “So when you see the abomination of desolation spoken of by the prophet Daniel, standing in the holy place ( let the reader understand),

Not allowing God’s people into the life of society will not be enough for the Antichrist. With satellite imagery, infrared cameras and drones he will pursue God’s people to the ends of the earth and unto their death. Matthew 24:15: And cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed. Daniel was thrown into the lion's den for not submitting to the worship of man in Nebuchadnezzar’s day (which was, of course, a type of the Antichrist). The Antichrist will seek to exterminate God’s own who refuse to bow down in this final day as well.

This will be then, beloved, what the Scriptures call the Great Tribulation. What we are talking about is the same Tribulation that Jesus prophesied about Himself in Matthew 24:1–51. The disciples had asked Him about His second coming in the end of the world.

When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation…(Which we said is the Antichrist)''…spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:) then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains: let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house: neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes. And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days! But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the Sabbath day: for then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened.'' Matthew 24:15–22, KJV

What we are describing is also the Great Tribulation that Daniel prophesied about long ago that it would come under the reign of the Antichrist in the end.

And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High. Daniel 7:25a, KJV

And there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time. Daniel 12:1b, KJV

The Antichrist will not annihilate the invisible church. There will be God's people on the earth all the way to the end, somehow surviving through this. But it will be a time of greatest difficulty. Many will be killed for the sake of the faith.

There have been frightening persecutions before this, beloved: The time of the early church under Nero and Domitian; the time of the Reformation; right now in certain parts of the world. What makes this the Great Tribulation, like has never been since there was a nation, is that it is worldwide. There is nowhere that it is not happening, and there is nowhere to go to escape. There is no leaving, now, the persecution in the Netherlands or the persecution in England in order to come to America for freedom of religion anymore. It is everywhere. A one world government that despises God and His people and pursues them to the four corners of the earth.1
