Matthew 7:7–12 (ESV)

7 “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.

God the Son came to do what we are unable to do. He came to love wholeheartedly, giving his life for the sake of God’s people. Dying for sinners even when they wanted nothing to do with him. He exemplified the Golden Rule throughout his life and always sought only the will of the LORD in his prayers. Because he perfectly obeyed God’s law and paid the penalty for my sin, I can be forgiven on account of his life and death if I am united to him through faith.
