What does Joshua 11:16–23 reveal about who God the Father is?
The Lord is sovereign. He chooses to show mercy to whom he will show mercy, and to harden the hearts of others. Salvation is entirely from God and based upon his decision to save, not any goodness in man. God is in complete control of history.
