Who are the Greeks with whom the men from Cyprus and Cyrene spoke?

Acts 11:20 (ESV)

20 But there were some of them, men of Cyprus and Cyrene, who on coming to Antioch spoke to the Hellenists also, preaching the Lord Jesus.

Since men from Cyprus and Cyrene would be very familiar with the Greek language as well as the customs of non-Jewish people, it is possible for them to speak also with Gentiles. The Greeks who they spoke with were Greek-speaking non-Jews.1 They may have been God-fearers and proselytes who were already connected to the synagogue in some way, though it is more likely that they are people who had no previous connection with the Old Testament and Judaism.2
