  • Prayer

Thank you that your King who saves us is also your King who rules and that we can trust Jesus to work all things for our good, because he has already demonstrated his love for us. Thank you that we can come to you in his name, fully confident that you will hear our prayers and answer them for your glory because we are united through faith to your Son.

We thank you for your provision and care. Thank you for all the good gifts which we received from your hand and the changes you have worked in us by your Spirit. Please continue to be with us day by day. Transform our desires so that we will be all the more eager to speak to you in prayer and content to submit to your providence. And keep us from temptation – in our fight against the world, the flesh and the devil – we have no hope of standing unless you are with us to make us strong. Help us to keep making use of the means that you have provided to this end so that we might fix our eyes on Jesus and what he has done for us. We pray further that you would bring down the rule of all tyrants so that there is more freedom for your church to live and share your truth. Through Jesus Christ, Amen.
