As he had asked so many times before (Job 13:22–24; Job 16:19–21; Job 17:3; Job 23:3–7), Job now asks God for the last time to show him where he has sinned. He has given a complete, detailed defence of his innocence (Job 31:1–34) and is even willing to sign it.
