What does Ezra 8 reveal about what God the Son does in my place and on my behalf?
God the Son rescues me from exile so that I can be called a child of God (John 1:12–13; Galatians 4:4–7; 1 John 3:1–3). He bore the burden of God’s wrath against my sin and thereby assures me that God will never forsake me in the Christian life.
