The chorus repeats words they heard from the song of the innumerable angels in Revelation 5:12. In so doing all creatures acknowledge that “blessing and honor and glory and might” characterize God Almighty as well as the Lamb. They add that these characteristics belong to God and to the Lamb eternally; no matter what happens in the centuries of history as the Lamb opens the seals, “blessing and honor and glory and might” always remain characteristic of God and the Lamb.
13 And I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and in the sea, and all that is in them, saying, “To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be blessing and honor and glory and might forever and ever!”
