Why are Lebo-hamath and the Brook of the Arabah mentioned?

Amos 6:14 (ESV)

14 “For behold, I will raise up against you a nation, O house of Israel,” declares the LORD, the God of hosts; “and they shall oppress you from Lebo-hamath to the Brook of the Arabah.”

Lebo-hamath represented Israel’s northernmost boundary and the Wadi Arabah was the southernmost boundary. These two towns are mentioned to emphasize that the destruction of Israel will be complete, from north to south; everyone will be effected.
