What does Amos 5:18-6:14 reveal about what God (through the work of the Son) does in my place and on my behalf?

God’s love for his people has resulted in him creating a way in which he can be just whilst at the same time forgiving sin. His Son came to bear the just punishment that our sins deserve so that those who trust in him can escape judgment.
