1 Jude, a servant of Jesus Christ and brother of James, To those who are called, beloved in God the Father and kept for Jesus Christ:

What does Jude 1:1-3 reveal about what God does in my place and on my behalf (the work of the Son)?

God the Son has made it possible for me to be adopted into God’s family so that I can belong to his church. He bore the burden of God’s wrath against my sins, thereby ensuring that I have peace with God and can look forward to eternal life in God’s presence.
