What does Jude 1:11-19 reveal about what God does in my place and on my behalf (the work of the Son)?
God the Son is the Lord who will come to judge. Together with all the angelic hosts, the Son will come to convict the ungodly and pronounce judgment upon them.
Escape from judgment is only possible for those who repent of their sins and trust in the finished work of God the Son. Jesus Christ came first to bring salvation through his life and death for all those who believe. In the future he will come to bring judgment upon all those who do not believe.
11 Woe to them! For they walked in the way of Cain and abandoned themselves for the sake of gain to Balaam’s error and perished in Korah’s rebellion.
