Will the truth of Jesus pass by the world unnoticed?

Mark 4:22 (ESV)

22 For nothing is hidden except to be made manifest; nor is anything secret except to come to light.

The question is answered in the negative. The Light will ensure that it becomes known and what is not recognized now (in Israel), will (after Jesus’ resurrection) be acknowledged among all nations. This is certain, because, as verse 22b says, Jesus is preaching openly and nowhere does he rely on mysterious doctrine or camouflage. What remains unnoticed by the people in those days, is in fact not at all “concealed” (in the sense of “hidden away”). That is not how Jesus uttered his word. It was directed to the people. If they do not hear it, that amounts to not understanding although they truly did hear it.1
