18Some are arrogant, as though I were not coming to you.
Paul ends this passage with a solemn warning (1 Corinthians 4:18–21). With apostolic authority, he rebukes those who sow discord in the church (probably by disparaging him and his teachings), while thinking that he will not return to Corinth.
