You could compare 1 Kings 10:1–13 to a house. The house is all luxurious and gold, but in the heart of that house is wisdom. As a Christian you can be wise and rich. Yes, wisdom can even make you rich, but there are many rich people who are not wise. They live without God. And then when death comes, such a person appears before God and God says, “Fool.” Jesus said, “So is the one who lays up treasure for himself and is not rich toward God” (Luke 12:21).
