Jeremiah 9:23–24 (ESV)
23Thus says the LORD: “Let not the wise man boast in his wisdom, let not the mighty man boast in his might, let not the rich man boast in his riches,
The three important things for people are wisdom, might, and riches. But neither the wise, mighty, or rich people are protected when God’s judgment comes. That is what the Lord himself says!
