Jesus says that this queen will testify against all who will not believe in God’s Son—the light of the world. (Read Luke 11:29–31.) The queen of Sheba heard of God’s wisdom from afar. But she came. It was quite a journey for her. And now God’s wisdom has come to God’s people in Jesus, but they do not accept him as their Saviour. The queen will accuse those people who do not accept Christ; yea, she will condemn them in the last judgment, saying, “I came all the way from Arabia to see God’s light; among you in the streets the light of the world walked around—and yet you did not come to Jesus, the Saviour of the world.”

Jesus said (referring to himself): something greater than Solomon is here (Luke 11:31).
