God’s final judgment is complete, as we see this in this verse. When the Ancient and All-wise judge intervenes, truly all human power comes to nothing. No human power remains standing. The other beasts, too, lose their power forever, even if there has been a certain revival, a prolongation, among the powers of old, this passes. The day of God’s judgment is truly the time and hour when every human dominion surrenders its power.
12 As for the rest of the beasts, their dominion was taken away, but their lives were prolonged for a season and a time.
