When you look at the fig trees, you can see the new fruit. When you look at the vines, you see the first new green leaves budding. You hear the doves cooing. Everything is tingling with new life. It is time, after a period of not having been together, to be together once again in a wonderful way, to enjoy together what the Lord is also showing in nature. To see how the Holy Spirit gives new life and renews the face of the earth again (see Psalm 104:30).
13 The fig tree ripens its figs, and the vines are in blossom; they give forth fragrance. Arise, my love, my beautiful one, and come away.
