1 Then Joshua rose early in the morning and they set out from Shittim. And they came to the Jordan, he and all the people of Israel, and lodged there before they passed over.

What does Joshua 3—4 reveal about what God the Son did in my place and on my behalf?

  • In the person of Jesus Christ, God the Son bears the waters of judgment that I deserve for my sins on my behalf. The death of the Son of God has atoned for my sins so that I can be sure of a future rest with God in glory.
