The book of Acts recounts the spread of the early church and the manner in which Christ works to take the gospel from Jerusalem, to Samaria, and finally to the ends of the world (Acts 1:8). In this sermon you must focus on Peter’s speech before the Sanhedrin, especially his claim that salvation can be found in no one apart from Christ. Given the implications of this claim, your sermon will focus on explaining what it means and answering some objections which people might have. Your aim is to instil confidence amongst God’s people regarding the Good News of Jesus Christ and what it means for the world.
