What does Galatians 4:21–31 reveal about what God does in my place and on my behalf (Son)?
Jesus Christ is the one who came to make it possible for a sinful people to dwell in the presence of a holy God. A heavenly Jerusalem can exist only because he perfectly obeyed all God’s commandments and bore the penalty that sinners deserve. As a result of his work, the inheritance which he earned (life in God’s presence) can be shared with those that do not deserve it.
21 Tell me, you who desire to be under the law, do you not listen to the law?
