This brief paragraph can be divided into two sections, with the first section describing what John saw ( Revelation 14:1) and the second part describing what John heard (vv. Revelation 14:2–5). Within the section on what John heard there are again two parts: first the singers of heaven (Revelation 14:2–3), then the singers on earth (Revelation 14:3, Revelation 14:4–5).
