What does Jude 1:20-25 reveal about what God does in my place and on my behalf (the work of the Son)?
God the Son has paid the penalty for my sin and washed me clean so that I may stand unblemished in the presence of the Father while rejoicing and not while mourning. Where all those who do not belong to God fear the coming of Jesus Christ since it will be their day of destruction, I wait for that day since it will be the day when I am given a new body that does not have a sinful nature. It will be the beginning of eternal life in the presence of God.
