Psalm 105 and Psalm 37
There are a number of psalms that would be especially appropriate for singing with a sermon from Joshua 15. Psalm 105 recounts the promises that God made to Abraham to give his descendants that land of Canaan. Especially the first half of this psalm (105:1-11) would be a good song to sing before the sermon. Psalm 37 focuses on the obedience that God requires of those who live in the land. This would be a good song to sing after the sermon—an encouragement to live in the light of God’s promises.
