The dragon and the beast had acquired so much power, to the point that the whole earth worshipped them (Revelation 13:3–4, Revelation 13:12). Yet the Lord God is greater, even able to cause sores to break out on all those who worship the beast, to make the sea coagulate like the blood of a corpse, to turn the water of every river and spring into blood, and so mess up thoroughly the best-planned civilization man can develop.
7 And I heard the altar saying, “Yes, Lord God the Almighty, true and just are your judgments!”
