What does Joshua 13 reveal about what God does in my place and on my behalf (the work of the Son)? Jesus Christ came to live the perfect live in my place and on my behalf. In order to dwell in God’s presence not only must my sin be covered but I also need to come before him with a perfect righteousness, a life of complete devotion to God. Through faith in Christ, his righteousness is imputed to me so that I can look forward to eternal life in God’s presence.
